I woke up in the middle of the day (aka afternoon) becasue I came home on 6am from a wedding celebration & because someone really special was on the door. Yes postman. He handed the parcel, took my special piece of calligraphy (duh, signature) and left. And after a fight with the parcel, I FOUND THIS DRESS IN IT!
A happy start of the day.
Then the crappy part start of the day.
I forgot how to make your twin take great photo of your outfit.
And this happened.
Nobody loves me. Nobody takes good shot of me. I think I need a good camera & tripod. My life will be completed. These pictures are the mixture of camera + tablet's camera + instagram + my friend told me that Google's photo editor is awesomoz so I tried it too! Vintage filters vomited everywhere.
Because bow is always a good idea!
Messy bun! With a little bling-bling on.
Wait, can you see these bling-bling hairband on my head? The ring? The dress? Rosewholesale guys were kind enough to send me these darlings into mail to show off on my blog. And I think I look pretty much pretty (this makes sense) in these. While this bubble necklace was something that I got from Black Friday shopping spree. And this messy bun is my trademark.
It took 2 hours exactly to get dressed up because I'm just a girl. Don't expect me to get ready in 15 minutes or less. I never understand how anyone will say, "Areeba! You take too long to get ready", yes I'll take hours to get ready for a party-party!
When I was a 9 years old kiddo, I never understood how ladies (my mom, my aunt, my other aunt, my other aunt) take SO much time for dressing up. You know, a 9 years old would need a frock, two ponytails, hair clips, leggings, shoes & she's done. Add bows & pearls if someone's going fancy. I once asked my aunt that why you all ladies take this much time that men out there start shouting? And your 5 minutes never end even after 30 minutes?
She might be impressed to catch this question. She laughed a lot and then she said, "Dressing up is fun, you'll know once you're grown up." Oh em gee! She was damn right! Dressing up is really very fun once you're grown up and there's an access to every kind of dresses, jewellery & MAKE UP. My biggest wish as a kid was to touch the make up kit my neighbours lady had. Her little sister was my best friend & we would gawk at "the big girl's" make up collection. I remember that it was something like this that I found on Google while searching for "peacock shape make up kit", but with more layers and colours.
And we were not allowed to touch that treasure. So we just kept gawking at that stuff for years. Maybe 3 years in total. So whenever I complete hours in front of mirror while I spot a little girl gawking at me hopelessly (she's never gonna get it until she's ready) I feel so funny. Duh, kiddo! It's a life-circle. After couple of years, she'll be on my place, spending hours on dressing up & make up and she'd spot a little kiddo watching her moves. It will go on. We ladies are designed like that!
So yes, dressing up is fun. It's proven by me.
And in the last, this face comes up when you have no one to photo of you. I NEED A TRIPLET PLEASE!
