This girl ain't a fashion blogger

Whenever somebody asks my blog description or niche, I no doubt start drowning in my blog genre. It falls into lifestyle, humour, entertainment and can-not-be-described-type. Mainly, it's lifestyle. So Hiiii, I'm a lifestyle blogger. So this doesn't mean I can't talk fashion. Last week I was almost going to throw a outfit post but my mum declared, "Sweetie, you're not a fashion blogger." Heck? I can talk about fashion, show fashion, say fashion and sing fashion (Except the point that I haven't figured out how to sing in fashion) on my blog.
So when I was asked to write a post for these DressFirst guys. I exchanged a look with myself in mirror, hell yeah! A lifestyle blog can write fashion stuff and it's totally LEGAL!

So a a little bit about them. I am keeping the "Read before buy" thing around.

"DressFirst.com is the leading supplier of wedding gowns, special event dresses, wedding party dresses, and accessories. Customers can select their favorite dresses here with great satisfaction."

These guys are specialized in special occasion dresses. The best thing I found around their website is their HOMECOMING DRESSES! Om nom nom, that shiny, bling bling stuff.
My top favourite dress.
Doesn't this remind you of Ronnie (Miley C) from Last Song?
There's other shiny and girly collection on their website. Hit a visit to have a sneak peak and tell me about a piece you love!

What your favourite dress type? Shiny or simple & elegant?

  14. Every year I attend the Marine Corps ball with my husband, which is a formal event requiring a floor-length ball gown. I LOVE the selection at Dress First and their prices are really reasonable for these types of gowns. Thanks for writing about them. I would never have known about them otherwise!

  24. I agree! I, too, am a lifestyle blogger and cover EVERYTHING. One day it is gluten-free recipes, the next about my cat laying on my keyboard. Then BAM! About a cute purse I picked up somewhere! Rock what you know - we love it!

  25. I think just being a girl counts as being a fashion blogger. And I love those dresses. I'm way too old to wear them but my daughter would want every single one.

  27. Just because you arent a 'fashion blogger' doesnt mean you cant blog about fashion, after all you wouldnt be able to experience life as a lifestyle blogger if you didnt think about fashion and other stuff so go for it.

  28. I wear a lot of dresses in the summer. Other wise I only wear dresses if I have to attend something formal. I like simple and elegant dresses. I like the dress you posted but I am too old to wear that now.

  34. I really have no idea what genre my blog is either, because it's everything! I'm not just a mommy blogger, or any one type of blogger...I'm more than that. I blog about it all, much like you. LOL - So I guess I'm lifestyle too. =0)

  35. Simple and elegant all the way. I think that every woman should have a simple black dress in her possession because they come in handy in any occasion! Having said that.. I don't have one. But when I see them, I always want to try one on because like I said.. you never know when you're going to need a dress in a pinch. Accessories and a good pair of shoes go a long way. Although, I again- own ONE pair of heels. AND- I have very few accessories, if any. Looks like I have some shopping to do.. (yeah right.)
I think you're an everything blogger Aree!!
"Areeba shares stories about her life with a twin! She's down to earth and it's a real pleasure popping in at Aree with Umbrella to see what she's up to... whether it be EID with her twin, or a tribute to her favourite Disney characters- Areeba keeps it real with every post!" (A little review from an adopted big sissy.)
