Language class VS Us

According to the latest survey of my class (Of course, taken by me) 85% of our class HATES language classes. 50% students are seen sleeping during Grammar section which is a wicked truth (You can also spot me, this conclusion was made by a teacher). Poetry section is the worst part!
image

After a long lecture (No matter which language) we fall on our desk sharing partners like they're a sleeping foam. I'm so glad that Noori is chubby so I can easily snooze for a second (or 2 minutes maybe)
School management, they're so nice. I heard they're reading my blog so Hiiiiii, you guys are SUPER nice!
But our books are not. That's how it comes out after reading a lesson :

About a personality:
Reality : A person who helped in saving many live (It could be anyone, a doctor or an army officer)
Our presentation : He was a real nice man. He thought people need him so he should help. He was a good looking man. All he needed was nice hair cut so he can have a good shot for our lesson's main picture.
AND

About a place:
Reality : The mountains covering 30% of the mount area of our county (Hit the geogrpahy in English's book)
Our presentation: An awesome place to camp fire. You can spot sheep there and beautiful scenario which is totally picture taking worthy. Go book a ticket and don't forget to charge your camera!

About an occupation:
Reality: Teaching is a holy profession (BOMB PART)
Our presentation: Teaching? What a profession it is! You can do anything as a teacher, make a kid sing, cry and use high heels in school which is a win-win (from a girl's heart) and nobody will charge you! A teacher is the only thing which makes a class silent which is nearly impossible in recess. In near future, schools will be hiring a teacher for recess, amazing idea?

Grammar:
Reality: Present tense // Past tense // Future tense
Our presentation: There are many types of tenses. These are used for telling how your life is going (Howdy) Present = What's on Earth is happening in your life? Past = Ah, those golden days when we were young kids. Future = IT'S A MYSTERY!

Poem:
Reality: English classics , a poem taken from early 1900s.
Our presentation: Its poet has died!

Moral stuff:
Reality : How giving cars and bikes to tweens and early teens can cause trouble to families
Our presentation: It's the luck of those kids. But sadly yes, they gotta operate those kids if they get into an accident which means their dads are losing business, mums losing control of kitchen and their siblings will have lack of pocket money. What about maids? They will lose their jobs!

So the result is - after our awesome progress-
GET OUTTA CLASS! Or at least don't sit in the same teacher's class again! For good.

Anything that you remember from your classes?

  4. Having a teacher you like and is kind, can be the difference between being good at a subject or not. Many, many years ago, I had a teacher who was not so nice. She was old and just needed to get out of teaching. To this day, I hate math and am terrible at it and I totally blame it on her.... So Yes!! Happy you have some great teachers.

  12. This was very funny. I don't think I ever actually fell asleep in class, but I did skip a lot of classes. My son wants to be a teacher, not sure he really understands what he is in for!

  15. Without teachers, you would not have been able to write this post or read the comments. I have never slept in class. I've daydreamed, been bored, wrote notes and doodled on paper, but never slept.

  22. I didn't mind going to my classes well except for my French class because I couldn't get the hang of it. :)

  23. You captured the subjects perfectly. My son has a 1st-year teacher and I love it because she's still excited to be teaching and so creative.

  25. Teachers have a tough job making people pay attention and keeping them engaged! I remember as a kid I would get bored and be like UGH now..as a parent of four...I'm in awe of the teachers. It's very hard.

  27. As you may have guessed; I loved english class. I was lucky enough to have the same english teacher for grades 10 11 and 12. So we had a solid bond and she really believed in me. I'll never forget her:)
Do you have a teacher that you really connect with?

  31. I have to agree with others... the choice of gifs were hilarious! I loved school, but I had a few teachers that could put me to sleep. Teachers have such a tough, thankless job. I appreciate that more now that I'm "old." ;)

  35. Wow. I must be strange because I love classes, almost all of them and you know, a lot does depend on how good the teacher is... how creative at presenting material, etc.

THANK YOU for an interesting (and funny!) post.

  37. I hated Spanish classes at school - I could read it very well, but struggled with the pronunciation :-(
Enjoyed learning German though....I lived in Munich for 3 years so had to learn by integrating with my new Bavarian town! :-)

  38. Its interface characters design may not be all excellent, but its 3D design impact is very excellent, by the up and down or so the WOW Gold key control, fascinated can try, the sensation is very similar with Silver. Music is always be players praise, and its map real-time show let you wrongly assume that you are getting recommendations, not just a activity title website. The sevice provided is known as the best, first-class organization on the internet to players, because they execute it in his own way.
