Disney taught me lots of stuff

It's already Saturday, isn't it? I had awesome plans for Friday but it passed within a yawn and when I was awake from my couch, it was already Saturday!
So I'm feeling more like a teacher than student. Don't get mad if you're my head mistress. Just because of the last class blog post I wrote, IT GOT FEATURED!
Thanks Black Physicists guys. So from now, I'll be making sure I'm giving extra classes.

Let's get back to the point!
When it turns to learn something, hiiii I'm Areeba and I got my first lessons from Disney. I was raised with Disney around, loved each and everyone who belonged to Disney until some people twerked during VMAs (aka Miley Cyrus) and I felt like crying.

Don't take food from strangers
When Snow White took poisonous apple from that old women {her wicked step mother} ate it and got her life was in danger. By that day, I was totally aware that naah, I'm not going to eat anything which is taken from a stranger.

But what if he/she offered me a big pack of Fruit-Tella? Okay, not at least an apple!

Don't run in heels
Yes, I would lose my prince or get him in trouble searching for me. Else I'd ending up falling in front of him and break my nose or ankle! Can you imagine a prince falling in love with a broken nose girl? No I guess!

How to make your friends feel better
No matter what's you're offering.

I'm the most beautiful
Amazing thing, if taken in a positive way. Geez, this gives away a boost of confidence. I'm pretty among all, just don't boast!

Sometimes beast is beauty
This things keep me away from judging. You can't say someone is ugly until you them well. One of the best thing that Disney gave us. You never know what's inside the heart if you don't stop believing on the appearance.

How to sing
I still don't know how to sing. Preferably, I'm a bathroom singer. I can claim an oscar during my bath. Everybody sings in Disney, almost everyone. High School Musical gave me A LOT!

Anyone can be friends
No matter if you're a lion and your friend is a meerkat {I'd hug you if you guess the movie} . Or you live on Earth and he is from outer space {Claps for you if you guess the movie} Friendship just means a relation, not a deal, right?

Did Disney give you anything?

  6. LOVE THIS POST! Favourite of the week!
I learned that you can comb your hair with a fork (thank you Arial) and that you should never judge a book by it's cover (Beauty and the Beast)!

  7. I LOVE THIS - I am a huge Disney Fan and got to take my kids there this March from Australia and it is just the most magical place. What I learned from Disney? Exceed Expectations in business and in life, wonder in the small things and the awe of expectation. Thanks for this post - it's a great reminder to PLAY!

  8. I love this because you shared the underlying messages that most of us would not have thought of. My favorite is I'm the most beautiful, because so many women haven't thought of themselves as beautiful as we compare ourselves with unrealistic images and ideas

  9. This was fun. I really like the silly dog from Up. I learned hakuna matata and to wish upon a star.

  16. Haha, I always thought it was weird that the cookie monster made it seem perfectly acceptable to take food from strangers. But yeah, Disney was really formative for our generation... although I do think they gave us unrealistic expectations about romance!

  23. The movie you were thinking of if someone got the movie right was The Lion King. :-) The second would be Lilo & Stitch. :)

Disney gave hope about a wonderful prince to live happily ever after with. I married mine.

  24. Disney movies taught me to believe in true love and fairy tales. A lot of the love stories really touched my heart even though they were animated and I've always thought to myself that I want a love like that.

  32. I LOOOOOOVE Disney movies. I just finished telling my sister in law and mother in law that if they ever need an idea for a present for me.. It's a Disney movie! I don't really have any.. and every time they come out of the vault I always forget to buy them.
Your post was cute and funny today. Enjoyed it!

  33. Disney rocked. I was reading a post on buzzfeed a few days ago where they showed very great quotes from some old animated movies. We had the best childhood!
